WELCOME. PLS ENJOY. - OUTFIT - JACKET: ASOS   Simplicity. Peace of mind. The beauty of plainness. There is something so majestic and pure about simplicity, and everything it entails in terms of fashion. A plain military style jacket, not teamed up with a pair of mom jeans or a dirty trainer, no badges pinned to it, or a colourful band tee beneath. No distractions from the core beauty of the jacket. That green colour that encompasses a certain warmth about it, a splash of nature, an abundance of brown undertones that feel comforting against the skin. Currently, I have been embracing all things minimalist, in the hope that by uncomplicating life from all angles, that it can present to me a clearer perspective of the world that I can embrace and fully immerse myself in. The concept of 'wardrobe essentials' and 'fashion basics' are often thrown around the blogging world, Instagram and YouTube, as the key items in your wardrobe are what makes your w

| Current Fashion Favourites - Trends, Colour & Print | 22/08/17 |

MORNING ALL! Today I have for you all yet another 'generic' style blog post that is most commonly associated with those of the YouTube users. But today, I bring to you, a blogging version of my Current Fashion Favourites. Buckle up lads, and enjoy... 1. Espadrilles In terms of summer attire, I am not overly fond of sandals, and whilst I've been a sucker for sliders this season, I usually depend solely on closed toe shoes in the summer time. Espadrilles, for me, are perfect. They don't allow your feet to get too hot on a mid-summers day, and they look particularly gorgeous on the foot paired with a tea style dress or denim shorts; without the fuss of painting your toenails or being conscious about having your feet out, lol. Personally, these are my go-to shoes (if rain isn't predicted) and I have been wearing them absolutely endlessly this summer. They are so fundamental to my ideal summer wardrobe and I am obsessed.  2. Floral Prints Usually, I wo

Picture this: its 6:30 pm on a Tuesday afternoon; the sun is peeping through the rain clouds from a showery day and I am sat, with a prominent smile upon my face having scored myself a great new job. A happy gal calls for an uplifting post... Since posting more frequently on the blog, I feel the sense of urgency for these posts to maintain a creative spark, to prevent the mundane and consequently losing my readership because posts have lost their mojo. A few weeks ago, my sister and I experimented with the images I use for these posts, by firstly shooting inside, and having my sister do my makeup in a way I would never choose myself. I love this makeup look though, glowy! Also, I feel this post has an edge of intimacy about it, as the images are less about the physical clothes I am wearing, and more about the mood, the expression and the overall vibes these pictures create. (hence the bizarre tiny chair propped up on this stool - artzy lol). With social media becoming

| Update: Minimalist Wardrobe | 08/08/17 |

Good Morning all. How are we? Enjoying the summer holidays?  At last, I have an update for you on how I've been getting on with minimalism and cutting down my wardrobe to a more manageable amount, it wasn't easy and I think I am going to have to do this in stages. Hopefully you'll like this post, do let me know what you think and if you have any tips for de-cluttering I'd love to hear them. It's a Saturday, a glorious weekend of exciting activities, coffee to takeaway, cinema dates, walks in the park...Not today. Today I decided to begin to de-clutter my wardrobe, and what a task it was. I didn't quite realise how many items of clothing I had, and more to the point, clothes that I literally NEVER wear have been sandwiched between wardrobe essentials in the hope of being picked - poor little fellas. At first thought, I imagined it to be quite fun looking through clothes and neatly organising piles of 'keep, sell and charity', but in reality

| Comfortable In Your Own Skin | 04/08/17 |

Morning all, I hope today brings you all things kind and positive. Following on from a few weeks ago, where I briefly spoke about ways in which I have allowed myself to be at my most natural, I thought it would only be right to provide a small update on how things have progressed since. In terms of makeup and mindset, how have the two months changed me as a person, or have they? Ironically, in this post I have been 'glowed up' with a swipe of lip gloss, a pink lid, filled in eyebrows and a touch of highlight - although aside from the shoot for this post, I have refrained from wearing makeup completely recently. I must admit that at no point have I felt tempted to cover up my under-eye circles or blemishes. Initially, it was difficult to accept my makeup-less face in public especially, because I felt self conscious about what people would think in terms of having blemishes and spots. But having left my skin alone for long enough, the spots and blemishes have become smal

| My First Festival Experience. Thoughts From The Heart | 01/08/17 |

Morning all and welcome to a new week. Today's post is surrounding the much anticipated review of my first festival experience. As you may know if you've kept up-to-date with the blog recently, I attended FIB in Benicassim, which is a music festival! Today I wanted to share with you how I felt about my first festival, and whether I would recommend FIB as a festival I feel you cannot miss out on. ... THE JOURNEY In order to catch our flight, we had to be at Luton airport before 4am, so it was an incredibly early start to the day, wearily on about an hours sleep - thank goodness for Pret  and their delicious coffee that was the perfect pick-me-up. We then got on our two hour flight, and had about half an hour afterwards to stretch our legs before clambering onto the coach which had almost too good air conditioning because snoozing became impossible due to freezing to death. 3 hours later and we arrived in Benicassim. We applied our sun cream on thick, were hoarded in l
