| The Truth About Student Life | 20/02/18 |

M O R N I N G

I almost feel like I've forgotten how to write a blog post, so the format of this post might be a bit 'up in the air'. Therefore, before I delve into things, here's a quick disclaimer... On the 26th December, I uploaded a blog post surrounding the topic of social media, and the influence I feel it has on the mental health of its users. Since then, I have been absent from this blog, and largely absent from social media in general, because I feel as though I've had nothing worth saying recently. I would much rather only upload when I am bringing a little something useful to the internet that even if only one person found it interesting, it would at least have a purpose.
This leads swiftly on to the subject of this post. Student life, and the truth about how it feels to experience daily life as a young adult, studying at University. I promise to not sugar coat the finer details, and to accurately portray the common notions of being a student. Shall we…

The internet is such a strange world, and it is in fact its own world - so far from reality yet so close, it redefines society conceptually to be honest. The internet can bring such wonderful things into the world: the announcement of a new baby, an endless supply of fashion inspiration, the top news at the fastest rate, and so many amazing memories and conversations can be shared between the beautiful people on this planet. The internet is an extraordinary place, and even more so as someone who has grown up in this time of technology. I bloody love the internet and all it brings to the world, I honestly think the internet is such a great platform for humanity to connect, share and create.
However, I have been wondering my mind recently, quite intently, and have found myself shying away from the internet, and social media platforms. Despite the fact I have no huge following…

Saying goodbye to my teenage years today is a disorientating feeling. Seven years of the valid excuse 'but I'm just a teenager' and the comfort of not yet reaching adulthood and responsibilities was calming. However, today I teenage no more, so I thought it would be interesting to reflect and to give an insight into 20 things I have learned in 20 years. HOW HAVE I BEEN ON THIS PLANET FOR TWENTY YEARS?!?! Please, grab a cuppa and enjoy.

1. Turning 20 years old is scary, lol.
2. University is an experience I would 100% recommend to anyone, even though it can be stressful.
3.  Sleep and your diet completely alters how you feel: not enough sleep and you become grouchy; a poor diet and you lose all motivation to do anything productive. Getting enough sleep and eating well should always be a priority.
4.  Love …

SUP GUYS! How are we all doing this morning?
I am currently sat on my bed in the late afternoon, with a hot cup of tea to hand (hopefully I won't forget about it), and I am really digging deep in my thoughts in terms of what I want to talk about today. A stressed student, on the cusp of several deadlines and all I can think about is this blog post. Blogging is a funny thing, sometimes it is my ultimate escape where I can just unwind and spill out onto the page whatever springs to mind. But sometimes, blogging can feel overwhelming, like I am being forced to think about my reality in its most raw state, and sometimes life is not all fun and games, and I just don't really want to come to terms with my busy mind.
Before I babble on about life and bore you all, lets jump straight in to the outfit I have styled for you t…

Hello again, and thanks for returning to my little space on the internet. How are we all doing today? Are you thinking about the 'C' word yet? Have you had too much caffeine this morning? Are you reflecting back on last weekends antics? Do you feel happy? Stressed? Is the cold weather pissing you off yet?

I know what you're thinking, 'I'm here to find out what this new found love is, why is she not giving me the answer...' Well, my new found love, Stranger Things aside, is the colour RED. For the season of AW17, I had set myself the goal of exploring more trends, and experimenting with my wardrobe through challenging myself to try and adopt the current trends to fit in with my existing clothes.

Red was an in trend colour I felt dubious about, as I am not the biggest colour wearer, yet I have found myself picking up more and more red items, which has been a complete s…

Morning everyone, and welcome back to the blog. Today I wanted to share with you a very autumnal outfit, that I am dearly in love with. When it comes to planning outfits to shoot, it can honestly take me hours to complete a single look, but this outfit was a rarity in the sense I rustled it up in about twenty minutes, so I am thrilled with the outcome. As I mentioned in my last post, outfit planning and styling is definitely a love/hate situation for me, so finding an outfit that is fleeky with ease is a wonderful feeling.

So, lets begin with the coat. I am a huge lover of coats, and I am admittedly beginning to accumulate quite the collection of jackets and winter coats, however this is my newest addition to my wardrobe coat-wise, and I picked this up on the Asos website. This pea/military style coat is by New Look and was an incredible price of ab…

G O O D  M O R N I N G.
As most of you will probably know if you follow me on any kind of social media, I recently hit 10,000 views on my little blog, and I could not be more thrilled. Over the past six months or so, since I began my lengthy university summer, I have really put my all into these blog posts. Aiming to ensure I have at least one to upload and publish every week has been both challenging and rewarding, but positively influenced by the scheduling feature on my blogging platform 'blogger'. I have also challenged myself in the sense of what I've been writing and the subjects I have been covering, for instance my festival/holiday styling saga that I feel went down a treat a few months back! It is exceptionally important to me that the content I am creating is actually somewhat interesting and captivating for you all, my lovely readers, so paying attention to small details and researching further the kinds of subjects that would be of interest to you. I thoroughl…
